My fiance started a gourmet mushrooms farm primarily growing oyster mushrooms. I decided to use it as my B.F.A. capstone project. I designed the logo and marketing materials to give our business a jump start for when we unveiled (no pun intended) it at the beginning of this year.

Here are some images from the B.F.A. capstone exhibition. I wanted to go for a Farmers Market set-up to make it a more humbling and intimate experience. It also translates into how it would be displayed at real farmers markets when the time comes.

Powell - Smith Wedding

I was thrilled to be asked by a coworker to design her wedding invitations to add to my portfolio.

She was excited about them and asked if I wanted to design her 

programs and then a paper fortune teller as a "get to know us" favor.

She was very happy with the results and I was happy to give her the perfect

custom wedding designs as a wedding gift.

Annual Fund Mailer

I was asked to come up with an idea during my internship at the Wehking Alumni Center for an Annual Fund campaign piece. I chose to design three different cards the size of an envelope with an area on the back to fill in information that would be mailed back.

Digital Billboard Display

Elite Travel

Postcard and table banner design for local travel agency, Elite Travel Inc. This was part of a group collaboration between the art group I was part of and marketing teams. The marketing team came up with a campaign for Elite Travel Inc. while we created pieces to fit their marketing plan. These are the pieces that I created for the group. I designed the background and revamped their existing logo.

The postcard is a direct mailer piece to send to potential clients. The postcard was entered into the 2013 Addy awards and won a Bronze certificate in Direct Marketing. 

The table banner was created for trade shows that Elite Travel Inc. take part of. The banner was entered into the 2013 Addy Awards and won a Silver certificate in Collateral Material: Poster.

Arts Council Brochure

Brochure that I designed as part of a print production class for the local Arts Council of Southeast Missouri. The director of the Arts Council liked the design and decided to use it. It has been printed and distributed throughout the region.

Marie Curie Wallpaper

Wallpaper design to be screen printed. Project was to create a repeating wallpaper design for a specific person or room. I chose to make wallpaper for Marie Curie's laboratory. It is a feminine late 19th century pattern with a scientific twist suitable for Madame Curie.
